Service Focus

A very broad focus on gastroenterology including particular interest in 

  • interventional endoscopy, 
  • inflammatory bowel disease, 
  • motility disturbances of the gut and oesophagus,
  • FMT – Faecal Microbiota Transplant, and
  • Hepatobiliary diseases as well with ERCP functionality

We follow a team approach in our practice and offer a broad range of expertise, opinions, and interventions


 I have a particular interest in the gut microbiome, and we have extensive experience in faecal transplantation and the natural approach to gastrointestinal pathology.

Appointments

Current:

 

  • Presents cases and sits on a local Multidisciplinary team (MDTM) fortnightly with other healthcare professions with different medical expertise. The goals are to discuss patients' diagnosis and conditions, and organize their treatment plan according to the most appropriate evidence-based protocols.

Recent Publications


  • Faecal Transplantation, the microbiome and the treatment of ulcerative colitis, recently published in the Lancet, and 
  • interest and publication in the fields of endoscopy, motility disorders inflammatory bowel disease and transplantation immunology.

 

Ongoing teaching and lectures as a commitment to continuing medical education.
