Preparing for Your First Visit
Please remember to bring the following to your appointment
- Your records and patient forms, completed
- Your insurance card
- All prescriptions and over-the-counter medication you are currently taking
- A list of all questions and concerns you may have
During Your First Visit
During your initial visit, our doctors will:
- listen to your account of the problem and
- ask number of questions.
Your doctor may then:
- will likely examine you,
- review any X-rays,
- read any other test results that you have.
Next our doctors will give you their opinion and recommendations.
In some cases you will be reassured and no further investigation or treatment will be required. In these cases there will be some tests, and in others, the next step will be a biopsy, a procedure, or other treatment.
When a Procedure is Required
If a procedure is needed, our doctors will
- explain the specific procedure,
- help you understand what it involves, and
- explain the risks and benefits.
